The Traffic Records Bureau was established in every Unit in the year 2011 and it is being called as City Traffic Records Bureau (C.T.R.B.) in the Commissionerates and District Traffic Records Bureau (D.T.R.B.)  in the Districts.  It is a sister wing to CCRB and under the control of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration) like City Crime Records Bureau (CCRB).  The main function of the CTRB is to maintain statistical information regarding the Road Accident Cases, M.V. Act. Cases and etc. of the Unit and to attend the matters relating to Road Safety to Chief Office, Hyderabad.
