Vijayawada City Police has taken step to inaugurate “Vijayawada City Police Traffic Warden Organization” to involve public in various enforcement and regulation activities along with Vijayawada City Traffic Police. The organization is a voluntary organization and assists City Traffic Police effectively to manage unprecedented increase in vehicle population and the tremendous pressure on the traffic Police. Vijayawada Traffic Wardens Organisation is mooted to involve the conscientious citizens to help the police in regulating and controlling the traffic in the city.

Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd., Lions Club, Rotary Club, The Krishna District Lorry Owners Association and other NGOs have come forward to render their services to the public through Vijayawada City Police Traffic Warden Organization. These Traffic Wardens perform duties in their areas and assist the Traffic Police. They also take part during special duties like national programs, Religious functions and annual traditional events etc.
